Hello my friends and thank you so much for coming to read my blog post on this new moon in Capricorn, here I will cover the energy that will be available to you during this new moon.

First and foremost..
Merry Christmas my Friends! I hope you all had a wonderful time over the festive period and if not then try not to despair.. onwards and upwards as they say and we are now on the verge of welcoming in the New Year!
On Monday the 30th of December we have our last new moon of 2024 and this new moon is also known as a Black Moon by some astrologers as it is our second new moon within the same month (This only occurs once every two and a half years approximately) so something you started two years ago may be coming back to the forefront for some of you, if you are a regular reader of my new moon posts then you will already know this, but for those of you who are new here then it's important to know that you do not need to be a Capricorn sign for this to resonate with you as the new moons all have their way of effecting the energies available to us all, however those born under the Capricorn sign may have their experience heightened during this time..
Capricorn is an Earth sign that is ruled by Saturn, It is the 10th sign of the zodiac where astrologers look for information on Finances, Career, Responsibilities and long term planning, as this is our "Black Moon" and it is the last new moon of 2024 it is hardly surprising that for many of us, this would be a time to take stock, contemplate our journey and how we have grown over the past 12 months.. I was about to write 24 months there, so again, that message being repeated for some of you about events over the past 24 months. You may be relieved welcoming in this new year, but don't forget - even through those hard and challenging times that you have faced over the past year or two, it has brought you life lessons and wisdom to carry forward with you, even if that lesson was simply you discovering that you were stronger than you thought, that you can overcome and make positives out of negatives, it is all part of your own spiritual growth and development.. it is important you respect your journey, you may feel it is easier to put things to the back of your mind but unresolved emotions that get suppressed have a way of coming out through your shadow side (anxiety, stress, tension, distrust etc) Really tuning in to this earth energy that is available to you can be incredibly healing, such as making efforts to become more grounded in your own reality (not allowing your thoughts and emotions to get carried away) but rather looking at the logical cause and effect.. journaling may also be beneficial or getting outdoors more, getting some fresh air and spending time in nature can really help ground your perspective.
This new moon also brings opportunities to be resourceful, forward thinking and productive, and what a time to do it in! the perfect time.. right before the new year, for many of you reading this, you may already know what it is you want/need, well ground that plan and idea into reality by planning ahead, creating a long term plan that is smaller in scale that is more realistic and attainable, for example: "Sue wishes that she had a new job" ..Sue can wish but just as a child needs to learn to walk, Sue needs to take a first step.. and this is why things are not just handed to us in life but we need to commit and work towards it, spirit and the universe guide us and do bring us opportunities but we also have free will and choice which is why so many carry karmic debt or feel they are stuck in a cycle because they haven't realised their true potential during this life or their previous life and have they have come back full circle.. but that is another story that I won't get into today, but what I mean to say is.. don't hold yourself back.. even making a small step forwards can create a chain of events that leads you further than you dreamed, so back to our example of Sue, does she know exactly what position she would like to work in? Has she made a CV/Resume? Has she spoken to friends or family regarding her thoughts? (Even this I have found to be so powerful, speaking your thoughts, dreams and desires into reality can happen- for example; Sue may find after speaking with friends or family that there may be support of someone who knows of the perfect job opening etc) just like some people choose to have a vision board, commitment rarely goes unrewarded so taking small steps that move you towards a long term goal, of course this does not need to be a new career you can change this idea to what it is that you have in mind, ground that idea and set yourself smaller realistic expectations and goals that are steps towards the long term vision - goals or plans relating to: career, housing, responsibilities or finances will be magnified during this month as these are the areas that relate to capricorn and saturn in astrology.
Every journey and outcome is unique, so this new moon will affect us all in our own unique way.
